We are searching for photos captured locally (within Wayne, Washtenaw, and Monroe Counties) that inspire us to appreciate and steward our environment: air, water, land, wildlife, resources, and ecosystems.

Contest begins: Oct. 1st, 2022
Entry deadline: Thursday May 11, 2023 @ 5:00 pm. This means your photo and completed entry form must be received by 5:00 pm.  Please do NOT wait until the last minute in case you have complications submitting your entry.  We WANT your entry.

 

 

Rules:
∙ Open to all area high school students (see counties listed above)
∙ By submitting your photo, you give permission for it to be published by GINLC (w/ photo credit).
∙ Digital photo must be entered using our website.  (Click here to see button for Entry Form.)
∙ Photos of people, domesticated animals, and pets are not eligible and must not be entered.  

∙ Students may enter up to 3 pictures, 1 per category.  If a category is not chosen, your photo may be placed
   for you.
   
This is an all-digital contest.  Photos should be taken using the highest resolution possible.  This allows for the BEST clarity and publication.  Images can be color or black and white.  Please be sure that you are submitting your photo as a JPG if possible or we may not be able to open and accept them.  Please make sure that your photo is not protected.
